Fat Shack 3 Sandwich Challenge
The first Fat Shack (Webster, TX) came to the Houston area in early May 2022. A friend and I wanted to be the first to attempt their 3 “Fat Shack” sandwich challenge. We did just that during opening day lunch. The 3 sandwiches were 9” each and needed to be finished within 30 min. The sandwiches consisted of cheesesteak, chicken fingers, jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, french fries, onion rings & honey-jalapeño mustard. They were amazingly good, and very big. Because of all the fried contents and bread, they were a little dry, and tough to get down quickly. That said, I conquered it. I finished with 1-2 seconds to spare (barely finished) and became their first challenge winner.
